I just hate the thought of electrical issues. What a pain in the a**. But I will investigate. I would rather find it now then break down in the middle of no where.

Fuel filter is in the tank but doubtfull that was the issue. smitty44 could be right on the Bank angle sensor.

"We rode back to a toy run preparty. Riding home from that party to my house is about 20 miles. I had no issues with the bike then.

Before we all go off in many different directions as to your "problem", it might help us all (including yourself), to take a few more rides and see what (if any)problems arise.
Perhaps the bike was kinda pissed off that you dropped it. Therefore, it retaliated.....We all need some Ammonium AD once in a while.......then all is well again.

Did the forks turn fully one way or the other to "bottom out" on one side or the other? Thinking that maybe your ignition switch/fork lock may have been jarred or messed up if the forks grabbed the lock mechanism and torqued it one way or the other. A short in there and you would have a hard time finding it. All 06 dynas were FI and the filter is in the tank. I had mine opened up and I have seen the filters in them. Doubt that it would get clogged.
I would check the ignition switch, the bank angle sensor, and any exposed wiring.
You may also want to check for ETC codes through the speedo to see if there are any historic codes in there. I can`t remember the sequence to get in there but I know there are some websites out there that have it with the code listings. This may help you out as well.

Also it may not be related, but the 06 dyna`s had a TSB on them for the stator having a problem. Mine had a screw back out on it somewhere and tore up the stator and flywheel. It was covered under the warranty at the time. This was about 2 years ago. This may not be the case. If it is, your battery light and check engine light would be on.

Already had to replace the stator and fly wheel this spring....among other things.
I took everyone`s advice and looked over the exhaust system last night. I can`t see or feel any where that it had loosened up. I also did not see any exposed wires. So, I decided to hop on and ride it to work today. The ride to work is about 27 miles and I had no issues at all. I`m hoping it was a fluke but will have a friend look the bike over when he gets back from his deer lease on Sunday. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for all your input...much appreciated.
