I really don`t know. But check and see if you have an automatic volume control, if that is on cut it off and see if that will fix the problem.

I am with Tat on this one. The only electrical connection that would tie the two together would be a ground. I would check under the fairing as well. My dads 95 had a ground short under there and whenever you kicked on the spots, the bike would stall.
