RK, its a fatboy. I want a seat i can do a couple of hundred miles without a sore arse. A lot of folk are going down the gel pad inside the seat route but you guys are on the ball so i thought i would ask you guys first. Thanks RK

I was going to put a gel pad in my seat, but I was told it feels like you have pile`s in your pants after a while. I put a Mustang seat on its been so rainy this year haven`t taken a trip yet.

Chaz,
You know that I have done alot of riding the past 3 months, It was on a modified stock seat on the roadking. I also bought me an Airhawk air cushion. The cushion is shaped like the seat, and it has an eggshell interior design and has a rubbery bottom and a stretch material on the cover. Anyway you inflate it a couple of breaths of air, you then sit on it and start letting the air out until you get comfortable. Mine cost me $134 off ebay and that was including shipping. I got it from American Classic cycles. You may have to play around with the amount of air you put in there until you find the right amount. This is alot cheaper than buying a seat, and you can always put it in your saddle bags until you need it, especially on short trips around town. And if you don`t like it you are not out of near as mcuh money as a seat cost.
But I wll tell you I have not heard anyone who owns an Airhawk speak badly about them , they have all liked them. Ask Hellcat Gib, he has one.
Hope this helps,

look into the mustang seats lots of choices and a good reputation for comfortable seats for the longer days in the saddle

Chaz, I have no complaints about the Corbin on my 2002 fatboy. 350 miles no problem for me with the drivers backrest
