Joke, This deal "smells" of being a total scam. Right off, the price was pretty low and now the kicker..........Of course, he will want your funds in hand before shipping the bike, If there is a way (like Pay Pal) where the funds are held (by an independent party) in escrow until you can actually see the bike and verify the title is clear.....That might work. Otherwise, I`d walk away.

I reported it to the site manager as a scam and I`m treating it that way. had my hopes up and got pretty excited when I saw an email from him; I`m still cusing!

Best thing for you is to leave that one alone. And as far as paypal goes in protecting you from something , I would not count on it.
Anyway just hold out and you will find the right deal, the farther we go into bad weather the sweeter the deals are going to get. This bike listed below is a good example, it is red awith black stripping and is very pretty, there are pics with the posting on craigs list,if you want to look at it. That is only about an hour and a half ride or less for me.

Looks like a scam to me as well. Hold off and something will come your way. I have a feeling that if you even hold off until the January time that you will start to see pre `10 RG`s for dirt cheap as the demand for the new `10 model has been very high.
